Battles Epsom Salt (Magnesium) 2kg.

EPSOM SALTS - Magnesium Sulfate (MgSO4).
Epsom salt has many useful properties for both humans and animals, internally and externally.

INTESTINAL CLEANSING / LAMINITIS.
This salt has been used for centuries to cleanse the intestines, especially on rest days and then mixed through a slop.
Very useful when the rectum needs to be cleaned quickly, e.g. in an acute case of Laminites (laminitis), when poisons accumulate due to stagnation, and are the onset of this painful condition.

BUSY, NERVOUS HORSES.
By balancing the salts in the body, many busy, nervous, and/or stressed horses benefit from Epsom salt (magnesium).
A magnesium deficiency increases nervousness and busy, hot behavior.
A tablespoon (±10grams) `morning and 1 `evening can then be helpful.

WHITE BRIGHTENING COAT.
This salt is also used to whiten the coat of fungi.

HOOF INFLAMMATION / ABSCESSES.
A solution of Epsom Salt in water makes a perfect hoof bath against inflammation and/or abscesses.

SPIRITS.
A bath with Epsom Salt has a relaxing effect on the muscles (see below).

HEAD SHAKING / BREATHING PROBLEMS DUE TO POLLEN.
Recently it has a new useful function in times of frequent pollen in the air, Epsom salt has an active action against these pollen.

Epsom salt does not contain prohibited substances.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Feed 10 grams (20 grams in pollen season) per 100 pounds of body weight, divided into 2 meals.
For internal use as a laxative - increases the fluid level in the intestines and thereby stimulates peristaltic movement.
Epsom salt is then a laxative salt for the relief of occasional constipation.
Epsom salt generally provides bowel movement in ½ to 6 hours.
If immediate relief does not occur, or if infection is present, contact your veterinarian immediately.

(CHANGE) BATH FOR YOUR HORSE WITH EPSOM SALT.
After a long day of work or exercise, humans love a relaxing hot bath with Epsom Salt.
You experience this as a method to relax and revive tired, aching muscles.
What many do not realize is that this is a form of therapeutic hydrotherapy.
Epsom salt is a very powerful mineral that helps to remove poisons and metabolic wastes such as lactic acid through the pores of our skin.
The significant reduction of poisons combined with the warmth of the water, relaxes the muscles in the body, increases the ability to contract and increases blood flow and circulation.
Blood circulation is vital to the body, transporting oxygen and nutrients to cells and removing waste products and carbon dioxide.
This allows cells to grow, multiply and repair themselves in an efficient, life sustaining and body strengthening manner.
Clearly, humans derive enormous benefit and pleasure from this simple form of leisure activity.
Can horses benefit too ? Absolutely!
After a competition, race or outdoor ride, an Epsom Salt bath will help restore your horse's muscles.
Using Epsom Salt baths up to 3x a week, combined with a solid warm-up and cool-down routine before and after riding, also helps prevent tying-up and other muscle problems.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE AND DOSING EPSOM SALT BATH.
Dissolve 1 cup of Epsom Salt in 20 gallons of warm water (just slightly warmer as comfortable for your hand).
Soak a bath towel so that it is thoroughly wet.
Wring out the excess when you take the cloth out of the bucket.
Lay on your horse, starting from the neck, remove the cloth as soon as it feels cool to the touch.
Repeat this process until you have had the entire body 3 times, instead of a bath towel you can also use a woolen cool blanket, keep in mind that it will be heavy to put on the horse.

Of course, this process can also be done only on the legs.

CHANGE BATH.
Dissolve 1 cup of Epsom Salt in 20 gallons of cold water, add ice as possible, AND dissolve 1 cup of Sea Salt in 20 gallons of warm water (just slightly warmer as comfortable for your hand).
Soak a bath towel in each bucket so they are thoroughly wet.
Starting with the cold bucket, wring out the excess water and put it around one leg.
Let sit for 30 seconds, remove it and repeat the process with the hot bucket.
Repeat the process up to 3x per each leg.
This can be applied to horses, dogs and humans to kick-start the circulation system and remove deep-seated metabolic wastes and poisons.
