Prac-tic is an antiparasitic treatment for dogs used to treat and prevent tick and flea infestations. Pyriprole kills fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours after exposure to the product. A single treatment prevents infestation for 4 weeks. It should be administered at monthly intervals when used as part of the treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis.

Prac-tic is a pyriproxyfen-based solution for the treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations in dogs, available in 4 sizes for dogs.
Prac-tic is effective against new flea infestations for at least 4 weeks. Prac-tic provides long-lasting protection against ticks for 4 weeks.

DOSAGE:
The recommended minimum dose is 12.5 mg/kg body weight of pyriprole, corresponding to 0.1 ml/kg body weight
Prac-tic spot-on solution. Within each weight class, the entire contents of the pipette of the appropriate size must be used.

- For dogs weighing between 2 and 4.5 kg, order Prac-tic XS (56.25 mg pyriprole spot-on solution for very small dogs)
- For dogs weighing between 4.5 and 11 kg, order Prac-tic S ( 137.5 mg pyriprole spot-on solution for small dogs)

- For dogs weighing between 11 and 22 kg, order Prac-tic M (275 mg Pyriprole spot-on solution for medium-sized dogs)

- For dogs weighing between 22 and 50 kg, order Prac-tic L (625 mg Pyriprole spot-on solution for large dogs)

- For dogs weighing more than 50 kg, you can combine the above options to achieve the correct dosage (namely, 12.5 mg/kg of body weight).

Precautions
If there are already ticks on the dog, you must remove them using, for example, a tick remover or spray before starting treatment with Prac-tic.
Environment To reduce the risk of reinfestation, you should also treat the environment. An environmental spray has been specially developed for this purpose.

Contraindications

Do not administer to dogs younger than 8 weeks or weighing less than 2 kg. Do not administer to cats, as this may lead to overdose. Do not administer to rabbits.
