For the treatment of flea and tick infestations, and the treatment of biting lice in dogs. Most lice are killed within 2 days. The insecticide’s protection against reinfestation by adult fleas lasts up to 8 weeks. Amflee has a persistent acaricidal effect lasting up to 3 weeks against Ixodes ricinus and up to 4 weeks against the dog tick (Dermacentor reticulatus).

Spot-on for Dogs helps control and prevent fleas and ticks in dogs. These pipettes are suitable for puppies and adult dogs starting at 2 months of age and weighing at least 2 kg. The pipettes are available in various dosages.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Administration and Dosage: For external use only. Apply topically to the skin according to body weight, as follows:

Directions for use:
1. Remove the pipette from the foil packaging. Hold the pipette upright and remove the cap.
2. Turn the cap upside down and place it back on the pipette. Press the cap and twist until the connections snap. Then remove the cap from the pipette.
3. Part the animal’s fur between the shoulder blades to expose the skin.
4. Place the pipette on the skin and squeeze it several times to dispense the contents—if possible, onto 1 or 2 spots directly on the skin.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION
It is important to ensure that the medication is applied to a site where the animal cannot lick it off and that animals cannot lick each other after treatment. The fur must be parted, and the veterinary medicinal products must be applied directly to the skin. Temporary changes to the coat (matted, greasy coat, and/or skin deposits) may occur at the application site. For optimal control of flea and/or tick infestations, the treatment plan should take local epidemiological conditions into account. Due to a lack of safety studies, the treatment interval should not be less than 4 weeks.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use on puppies younger than 2 months and/or weighing less than 2 kg, as no studies have been conducted for this population.

Do not use on sick animals (e.g., those with systemic diseases, fever, etc.) or those recovering from illness. Do not use on rabbits, as side effects may occur that could result in death. This veterinary medication is specifically formulated for dogs. Do not use in cats, as this may lead to an overdose. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient, dimethyl sulfoxide, or any of the excipients.

SIDE EFFECTS
If the animal licks the solution, excessive salivation may occur for a short time. Very rare side effects following application include transient skin reactions at the application site (scaling, localized hair loss, itching, redness) and generalized itching or hair loss. In exceptional cases, after application, excessive salivation, reversible neurological symptoms (hypersensitivity, depression, nervous symptoms), vomiting, or respiratory symptoms may be observed.
