Feed as an infusion:
Many herbs, including Dandelion Root, can be fed in dried form, but this can mean that it sometimes takes a while for the full effects to be seen.
There is a way to speed up the effect!
Simply making an infusion of the herb makes the active ingredients more readily available and more easily absorbed by the horse.
Add ½ liter of boiling water to the herbs given the same day.
After cooling, the entire infusion (including herbs) can be used.
If access to a kettle is not practical , soaking overnight in cold water will also help to release the active ingredients.
DOSAGE:
Horse of 600 pounds, 20 to 30 grams per day.
