Frontline Combo is a combination product because it contains two different active ingredients. Therefore, in addition to adult fleas and ticks, Frontline Combo also kills the eggs and larvae of fleas. Frontline Combo kills fleas within 24 hours and ticks and lice within 48 hours of administration.

Features Frontline Combo

• Controls fleas, ticks and biting lice and prevents reinfestation of the environment by immature fleas for the duration of four weeks.

• Stops the development of eggs, larvae and pupae of fleas for six weeks, preventing reinfection of the cat's environment.

• Kills ticks on your cat and protects against reinfestation for up to two weeks.

• Can be administered as part of a treatment regimen to control flea-induced allergic dermatitis (FAD).

Features Frontline Combo® Spot On Cat in ferrets:

Eliminates fleas and ticks on ferrets. Has multiple effects on fleas: it eliminates adult fleas on the animal and prevents infection of the treated animal's environment by immature fleas. In addition, it protects the ferret against reinfestation of fleas and ticks for 4 weeks.

Dosage and route of administration in ferrets:

One pipette of 0.5 ml per ferret, for topical application to the skin (equal to dosage for cats). Minimum treatment interval: 4 weeks.

Use during gestation, lactation (Note: here are differences between cats and ferrets):

• Cats: The product can be used during gestation and lactation.

• Ferrets: The safety of the product has not been demonstrated in ferrets during gestation and lactation. Therefore, use only after consultation with the attending veterinarian.

Contraindications (Please note: here are differences between cats and ferrets):

• Cats: Do not administer the product to kittens younger than 8 weeks old and/or to kittens weighing less than 1 kg.

• Ferrets: Do not administer the product to ferrets under 6 months old, i.e. not on puppies.

• General: Do not use in sick (e.g. systemic diseases, fever) or convalescent animals. Do not use in rabbits, as side effects and even death may occur.

Precautions

Ticks already present on the cat should be removed with, for example, the O'Tom tick hook.

Effectiveness

• Kills fleas on your cat and protects against reinfestation for 4 weeks.

• Kills fleas on your ferret and protects against reinfestation for 4 weeks.

• Inhibits the development of eggs, larvae and pupae of fleas (for 6 weeks on the cat), and thus prevents the infestation of the environment of the treated animal during the same period).
