Vertargil White Loam EXTERN

Air-purified clay with a strong purifying and healing effect - external use only!
White clay is a medicinal clay with a strong purifying and healing effect.
No other substance has been added.
This special, soft clay should not be confused with the classic talcum powder!

White loam is the mildest/softest loam. It can therefore be used as a face mask for sensitive skin. Dry white clay powder can be used as a substitute for talcum powder. The use of clay powder maintains a good acidity of the baby's skin. The clay powder can be sprinkled or used as a spread on irritated buttocks.

Characteristic of loam
The use of clay has a long history.
Almost every nation has clay or loam treatments in medical traditions.
In many places in the world, clay or loam is mined for use in their medicines.
There are many types of clay.
Green, red, white and yellow clay are all types that can be used as a health product.
The color has to do with the composition of the minerals.
Green loam seems to be the most powerful loam.
Green clay is a living, intelligent substance whose effect has never been imitated in the laboratory.
It cleanses, mineralizes, initiates all kinds of regenerative processes and harmonizes the total ecology of the body.
When used internally and externally, clay can promote health and support the healing processes in certain health complaints.
In addition to natural, clay can also be used in allopathic medicine.

According to scientific research, loam could be the cradle of the higher life forms on earth.
This underlines the wonderfully intensive effect of medicinal mud, clay powder or clay water.
Due to the unique absorbing capacity of clay, it binds many toxins and helps to remove this waste from the body.
Because of this draining effect, loam is a good support for detoxification and other cleaning treatments.

Specific:
White clay is especially suitable for sensitive skin, red skin and baby skin.

Preparation of clay paste
Slowly pour the desired amount of clay into a bucket or a stone/glass bowl, into which an equal amount of (spring) water has been added.
Allow the loam to settle for some time without stirring so that the loam absorbs the water well.
Drain the excess water and the pasta is ready to use.
The reconstituted clay that you have left over and no longer wish to use can be stored, provided that it remains in contact with light and air.
So don't close the bowl or bucket!
If the paste dries out, add some water again, let it soak in, pour off any excess water and the new paste is ready.

Applications
• Use as a clay mask
Use about 2 scoops. The loam mass must be smooth and creamy and not too liquid.
Evenly distribute the prepared warm or cold clay over the face.
Use an average layer of 0.5 cm. Leave on for about 15 minutes.
Then wipe with damp compress cloths and throw away the clay.
A clay mask absorbs the toxins that have accumulated in the skin, removes dead skin flakes, firms the skin and supports the healing of skin irritations.
It also stimulates blood circulation in the face.
Every skin can use and tolerate a clay mask.
Depending on the skin type, the mask can be left to dry.
For dry to sensitive skin, the mask can be kept moist by covering it with plastic foil or with a wet compress cloth.
The effect of the clay can be enhanced by adding hydrosol, fatty plant oil or essential oil.

• Warm and cold clay compresses
A warm loam compress can be used where deep heat is desired.
A warm clay compress can have a relieving effect, especially in the case of rheumatic complaints.
Add clay powder to the same amount of warm water.
Place the bowl in a larger bowl of warm water.
Let it stand for half an hour and do not stir.
Keep some dry clay behind to add extra if necessary.
The warm clay is applied to a warm damp cloth and then to the skin.
Cover with a dry cloth or plastic foil, possibly with another cloth to keep the body part warm.
If necessary, place a hot water bottle against the clay compress.
These warm clay compresses can be left on overnight.

•  Clay powder
Dry white clay powder can be used as a substitute for talcum powder.
Washing too much and applying ointments can disrupt the natural balance of baby and children's skin.
The use of clay is also recommended for skin care in babies and toddlers.
Moist baby skin that comes into contact with the corrosive substances from faeces and urine can irritate.
Many talcum powders make the skin's naturally acidic environment more alkaline
as a result a breeding ground for bacteria and a greater susceptibility to irritations.
The use of clay powder maintains  a good acidity of the baby's skin, thanks to the minerals in the clay.
The clay powder can be sprinkled or used as a spread on irritated buttocks.
For this, it is diluted with water and mixed with a little fatty plant oil such as wheat germ or apricot kernel.

For a face mask, a clay bath, for baby bottoms and diaper rash and for sweaty feet.

White clay is the mildest and softest clay among the clay types. Real white clay is 100% composed by nature and unprocessed. It has the same cleansing properties as the green clay, but less strong and much gentler on the skin. Due to the softness of white clay, it is especially suitable for sensitive skin and baby and children's skin. Mixed with fatty plant oil, white clay can also be used in the form of ointments and masks. It can therefore be used as a face mask for sensitive skin. In addition, it is suitable for all applications where the classic talcum powder has been used up to now. Unlike talcum powder, clay powder does not seal the skin.

Mask for sensitive skin
A delicious recipe for a velvety white clay mask:
2 tablespoons of white clay
2 tablespoons of fatty vegetable oil (with possibly 1 drop of essential oil)

The clay paste should be smooth and creamy and not too runny. Spread the prepared warm or cold clay evenly over the face. Use an average layer of 0.5 cm. Leave on for about 15 minutes, the mask will not harden. Then wipe with damp compress cloths and throw away the clay. A clay mask cleanses the skin, removes dead skin flakes, strengthens the skin and supports the skin's regenerative capacity.

Baby bottoms & diaper rash
White clay is very gentle on the skin. For irritated skin and diaper rash, the powder can be used as a replacement for talcum powder. Unlike talcum powder, clay powder does not seal the skin. Clay continues to breathe! Too much washing and applying ointments can disturb the natural balance of the (baby) skin. The use of clay is also recommended for skin care of babies and toddlers because this skin is not yet fully developed. Moist baby skin that comes into contact with the corrosive substances from faeces and urine can irritate. Many talcum powders make the skin's naturally acidic environment more alkaline, creating a breeding ground for bacteria and making it more prone to irritation. The use of clay powder maintains a healthy acidity of the baby's skin, which is due to the minerals in the clay. The clay powder can be sprinkled or used as a spread by diluting the white clay with a fatty vegetable oil and possibly a little water or hydrosol.

A soothing clay bath
Add about 4 tablespoons of white clay to a body bath. A clay bath has a soothing effect on all kinds of skin complaints. 2 tablespoons of white clay powder go into a foot bath. Nothing is softer than bathing with white clay and fatty plant oil, then add 4 tablespoons of plant oil. Note: rinse the bath well to prevent the drain from becoming blocked!

Sweaty feet
For sweaty feet, clay is ideal to use in combination with a few drops of essential oil of sage, tea tree and lavender. You can sprinkle the white clay on the desired spot as needed and massage it in lightly if necessary.

Quality
In the deep south of France, layers of clay have been formed over millions of years. Due to the warm, sunny climate, a lot of solar energy is stored in the clay. The clay is extracted, dried in the sun and finely vibrated and filtered using a special technique. Each batch is lab checked for the highest content standards to ensure top quality!

Warnings
It is rare for people to be allergic to clay
Throw away the clay after use and make sure that children and animals cannot come into contact with it. Clay is for single use only.
Clay is a wonderful natural product but never replaces a doctor. In case of doubt, always consult a doctor before proceeding with the use of clay.
