Description

Neporex 2WSG

Neporex is a highly water-soluble granulate that is used to prevent fly nuisance.
To combat fly larvae, rat tail larvae in manure and other breeding places in stables and pens.
Neporex does not immediately kill all maggots present, the effect is noticeable after 10 days.
Use Neporex mainly to prevent flies.
Depending on the accumulation of manure, Neporex has an effective duration of 8-12 weeks.
Prevent a fly infestation!

Neporex affects fly maggots, not eggs, pupae or flies. It prevents the formation of a new layer of skin (chitin), so that the maggots already die during molting. Decrease in fly pressure can be expected approximately one week after administration.
The drug acts like a stomach poison. The result is inhibited growth of the larvae, while the molting process is interrupted and normal pupation is prevented; fast action cannot therefore be expected.

Properties of Neporex:
Can be used with various types of livestock: chickens, turkeys, broilers, rabbits, pigs, dairy cattle, calves and beef cattle
Can be used in fly breeding grounds, for example manure and other rotting moist organic waste
Effective against rat tail larvae
Safe for other beneficial insects
For an even more effective control program it is recommended to combine Neporex with the use of an adulticide (fly killer), such as Agita or Quick Bayt.

The application should be aimed at the treatment of breeding grounds. Adult flies are not controlled.
During the application, the animals do not have to be removed from the house or pen.

Sprinkle:
500 grams per 20 m2
To pour:
500 grams per 20 liters of water per 20 m2
squirt:
500 grams per 2-8 liters of water per 20 m2

Dosage
Per 10 m2 manure surface (calves on solid floors with straw bed)
Moist manure: 250 grams (spreading).
Dry manure: 250 grams in 10 liters of water (pouring) or 250 grams of 1-4 liters of water (spraying).

Per 10 m2 slatted area (Pigs and cattle on slats and/or solid floors)
250 grams in 10 liters of water (pouring) or 250 grams in 1-4 liters of water (spraying).

Per 10m2 of manure (poultry houses)
250 grams in 10 liters of water (pouring) or 250 grams of 1-4 liters of water (spraying).

- Calves on solid floors with straw bed.
Fly larvae do not develop where the straw bed is well trampled by the animals. It is sufficient to treat evenly with a 50 cm wide strip along the walls and around curbs such as drinking troughs and posts.
Application by spreading on moist manure or spraying or pouring on dry manure.
Note: A dry application by spreading on a deep straw bed can sometimes not give the desired result due to insufficient penetration or poor distribution.

- Pigs and cattle on slats and/or solid floors
Treat the gratings by pouring or spraying, especially those places where the slats or bars rest on the wall and if possible also the underside of the gratings. On the fixed floor, a 50 cm wide strip along the walls and around curbs such as drinking troughs and posts will suffice and can be treated evenly.

- Poultry houses (batteries and "flat decks")
The entire manure surface must be treated evenly. Best results are obtained when the first application takes place approximately one week after mucking out, whereby the manure layer should not be thicker than 10 cm. Run the second application 14 days later. In case of large manure accumulations, a third application may be necessary. Carry out the application by spraying or pouring.

Time and interval of applications Preventive applications should take place in the spring or 2 days after a thorough cleaning of the house, whereby a second and possibly third application, depending on the infection pressure, should take place with an interval of 14 days. In pigs, it is recommended to carry out the first application shortly before introduction into empty pens or when fly stocks are present. In order to disturb the animals as little as possible, it is also possible to suffice with a single application shortly before insertion, whereby the double dose must be maintained.

Active ingredient: Cyromazine
