Neporex 2WSG

Neporex is a very well water-soluble granulate used to prevent fly nuisance.

To combat fly larvae, rat tail larvae in manure and other breeding places in stables and pens.

Neporex does not immediately kill all the maggots present; the effect is noticeable after 10 days.

Use Neporex mainly for preventive fly control.

Depending on the accumulation of manure, Neporex lasts 8-12 weeks.

Prevent a plague of flies!
 

Neporex has an effect on fly maggots, not on eggs, pupae or flies. It prevents the formation of a new skin layer (chitin), so the maggots already die during molting. Decrease in fly pressure can be expected about a week after administration.
The drug acts as a stomach poison. The result is inhibited larval growth, while the molting process is interrupted and normal pupation is prevented; therefore, rapid action cannot be expected.
 

Properties of Neporex:

• Iapplicable to various types of livestock: chickens, turkeys, broilers, rabbits, pigs, dairy cattle, calves and beef cattle

• Can be applied to breeding sites of flies, for example manure and other decaying moist organic waste

• Effective against rat tail larvae

• Safe to other beneficial insects (excluding predatory flies)

For an even more effective control program, it is recommended to combine Neporex with the use of an adulticide (fly kill), such as Agita or Quick Bayt.
 

The application should be aimed at treating breeding sites. Adult flies are not controlled.

There is no need to remove animals from the house or pen during application.
 

Sprinkling:
500 grams per 20 m2
Pouring:
500 grams per 20 liters of water per 20 m2
Spraying:
500 grams per 2-8 liters of water per 20 m2

Dosage
Per 10 m2 manure surface (calves on solid floors with straw bedding)
Wet manure: 250 grams (scatter).
Dry manure: 250 grams in 10 liters of water (pouring) or 250 grams 1-4 liters of water (spraying).

Per 10 m2 of grid surface area (Pigs and cattle on grids and/or solid floors)
250 grams in 10 liters of water (pouring) or 250 grams in 1-4 liters of water (spraying).

Per 10 m2 of manure (Poultry houses)
250 grams in 10 liters of water (pouring) or 250 grams 1-4 liters of water (spraying).

- Calves on solid floors with straw bedding.
Fly larvae do not develop where the straw bed is well trodden by the animals. It is sufficient to treat a 50 cm wide strip evenly along the walls and around stands such as drinking troughs and posts.

Application by spreading on wet manure or spraying or pouring on dry manure.
Note: A dry application by spreading on a deep straw bed may not give the desired result due to insufficient penetration or poor spreading.

- Pigs and cattle on slats and/or solid floors
Treat the grids by pouring or spraying, especially those areas where the slats or bars rest on the wall and if possible also the underside of the grids. On solid floors a 50 cm wide strip along the walls and around uprights such as drinking troughs and posts can be treated uniformly.

- Poultry houses (batteries and flat decks)
The entire fattening surface should be treated evenly. Best results are obtained when the first application is made about one week after mucking out, where the manure layer should not be thicker than 10 cm. Perform the second application 14 days later. In case of large manure accumulations, a third application may be necessary. Apply by spraying or pouring.

Time and interval of applications Preventive applications should be made in spring or 2 days after a thorough cleaning of the barn, with a second and possibly third application at 14 day intervals, depending on infection pressure. For pigs, it is recommended that the first application be carried out shortly before introduction into the empty pens or when flies are present. In order to disturb the animals as little as possible, a single application shortly before introduction, at double the dosage, is sufficient.
