It is the first food that calves and lambs receive and is necessary for a good start. Colostrum contains many immunoglobulins which are necessary for a good defense. Immunoglobulins are antibodies that are absorbed in the intestines in the first hours after birth. In addition, colostrum contains a high level of fat and protein. This is important because calves and lambs need a lot of energy immediately after birth to maintain their body temperature. Sufficient colostrum intake by calves and lambs is not always obvious. This can have several causes including insufficient colostrum production or deficiency of antibodies in the colostrum.

Colostrum mix from Topro is the colostrum replacement for lambs and calves! Contains concentrated bovine colostrum and is a good supplement for calf and lamb. Contains about 13% lgG, which are immunoglobulins, also called antibodies.

Topro colostrum mix is water-soluble powder to supplement or replace colostrum for calves and lambs in all cases where maternal colostrum is not available. Free of Mycobacterium Paratuberculosis spp., and Rhesus disease and contains min. 20% IgG. Dissolve in lukewarm water. Administer within 6 hours of birth.

  Colostrum Mix from Topro is a premium colostrum suitable for calves and lambs. It is a complete colostrum replacement, but can also be used as a perfect supplement. This product includes concentrated bovine colostrum, whey protein powder, coconut oil, vitamins and trace elements. This mix is made with the aim of enriching the mother's colostrum as completely as possible and is free of pathogens such as BVD, IBR and para-tbc. The colostrum contains 13% immunoglobulins.

Administration and dosage:
Dosing calves: to supplement colostrum, add 200 grams of Colostrum Mix to 1 liter of water at 45°C. Provide this as soon as possible after birth.
Dosage lambs: add 25 grams to 80 ml of water at 45°C. For weak animals, use 50 grams with 120 ml of 45°C water and provide this to the animal as soon as possible after birth.
