Boehringer Ingelheim Bovikalc Calcium bolus 48x 1 bolus 192gr.

•     Bovikalc calcium bolus is a supplementary dietary feed, for prevention or post-treatment of milk fever.

• Bovikalc is recommended both preventively and to supplement a calcium infusion. Very safe to use, unique composition and method of administration.

• The special composition of Bovikalc makes the calcium available both immediately and gradually.

• For prevention or post-treatment of milk fever. For preventive administration of calcium to cows susceptible to milk fever.

• Use Bovikalc to supplement rations around parturition in cows predisposed to hypocalcemia (milk or calf disease).

Administration in prevention of milk fever:
 

• 1 bolus at the beginning of birth.

• 2nd bolus immediately after calving.

• 3rd bolus 12 to 15 hours after the 2nd bolus.

• 4th bolus 12 to 15 hours after the 3rd bolus.

Administration during treatment of milk fever:
 

• 1st bolus 2 to 3 hours after calcium infusion.

• 2nd bolus 12 to 15 hours after the 1st bolus.

Composition 1 bolus contains:

Calcium chloride dihydrate 110.0 g

Calcium sulfate hemihydrate 44.1 g

Water 27.3 g

Polythylene glycol glyceryl ricinoleate 8.6 g
