Description

Eprinex Pour-On.

Internal and external parasites, such as gastrointestinal worms

and lice, are organisms that feed on a host animal’s tissue, blood,
and tissue fluids and can interfere with performance.
For dairy producers, parasite burdens can lead to significant productivity losses if not effectively addressed.

Internal parasites can cause appetite suppression, reduced feed digestibility and nutrient absorption, blood loss, and anemia, which in turn can lead to decreased weight gain and milk production, weakened immune system, and tissue and organ damage.

External parasites can cause hair loss and scabbing, blood loss and anemia, and skin irritation, as well as acting as a disease vector. The effects of external parasites on production can include decreased weight gain and milk production, hide damage, and damage to facilities and fences from rubbing and scratching.

Superior Broad-Spectrum Control
Fast-acting EPRINEX is a powerful tool to address internal and external parasites. In fact, it’s the most powerful, milk safe protection you can buy to safeguard your herd. The superior broad-spectrum control of EPRINEX includes more stages of internal parasites – including inhibited stages. It also provides longer lasting control against more species of worms than any other product – eliminating the threat of the destructive brown stomach worm (Ostertagia ostertagi), and four species of the intestinal worm (Cooperia spp.). EPRINEX is equally effective against external parasites, including manage, mites, horn files and biting and sucking lice.

Maximum Safety for Your Animals and You
The outstanding protection of EPRINEX is matched by its excellent safety. EPRINEX is completely milk safe – meaning zero withdrawal time for lactating cows. You have the convenience of treating your animals anytime without ever putting your milk at risk. It’s safe for all ages: calves, heifers, and cows. You can also use EPRINEX to protect your bulls, and pregnant and open animals. In addition to zero milk withdrawal, EPRINEX also features zero meat withholding, so you can cull without worry.

EPRINEX is extremely safe for you, too – which makes it hassle-free to apply. No gloves. No protective clothing. No safety glasses or face shields. And EPRINEX is virtually odourless, so you and your crew don’t have to endure a strong, unpleasant odour when you’re treating your animals.
