Eraquell Horse Wormer

Eraquell Horse Wormer is based on a tried and tested 1.87% ivermectin formulation, offering the broadest spectrum of roundworm and bot control.
 

Eraquell is a smooth, oral gel that is easily and accurately administered through the specially designed dosing syringe. The syringe is shorter than others making it easier to hold and use, and with a robust, lockable dose adjuster and the dosing scale clearly printed on both sides, it is easy to ensure accurate dosing and minimise waste.
 

Eraquell is safe to use in all horses, including pregnant mares, stallions and foals over six weeks of age.
 

One syringe is sufficient to treat a 700kg horse. 
 

Eraquell contains Ivermectin and is effective against most common worms except tapeworm and encysted small redworms.
 

A dose for Bots is best given after a hard frost has killed the last bot flies ie around Christmas.
 

Dosing needs to be repeated every 8-10 weeks. Eraquell is not available as granules If tapeworm cover is needed a “double dose” of Pyrantel (Strongid P) may be given at the beginning and end of the grazing season.
 

In addition Panacur or Equest may be given ideally in November for encysted small redworms.
